My Experience:
The past month has been a true BB cream test drive for me. I had a few brands in my stash that I wanted to talk about and this one was on top of the list obviously because of the fame it has received.

Starting with the appearance, it does receive my admiration and you can tell why. It comes in a bright pink packaging,a fairly long bottle and a silver pump on top. The pump is very convenient and squirts out a very small amount with a single pump if you keep your hand light.

The prestige BB cream claims to have the usual benefits that you expect from a bb cream.Wrinkle Improvement, whitening and sun protection. But the ingredients are quite unique. In addition to
Peptide MX Complex,Caviar Extract,Coenzyme,Aloe Vera,Arbutin, Adenosine, Titanium Oxide, Adenosine and Arbutin, It contains Diamond, Ruby, Pearl, Gold, Amethyst which tells us where it gets it's name from.
These ingredients are not something you'd find in just any BB cream out there. According to the brand they are there to provide lustre and shine to your face.

On to the shade, this was the part which let me down. This BB cream has the usual grey tone and thus too light for me. I so wish they come up with a BB cream with yellow undertones for darker tones. I mean who doesn't want a foundation that actually helps your skin? . The grey tones show up on my face if I layer it up more than 2 times which bothers me. To solve this problem I've put my foundations, that were darker, to use.
I just mix them up and it does the job, however I usually do this when I want a better coverage. For a sheer coverage  this BB cream alone is enough for me.
It provides a dewy finish and doesn't look cakey at all. The consistency is runny If I compare it to my Lioele Triple the soultion BB cream so it feels extremely light on face.
The best part, for me,was the staying power of this BB cream. It stays all day and I felt it's kind of waterproof since it's there even if I wash my face with water. So I don't have to re-apply it.

As for the benefits that have been mentioned, I don't have wrinkles so I can't comment on that but it definitely makes my skin feel very soft and smooth. I did not face any breakouts with this BB cream which was expected because of the light formula. It has SPF 25 which is a little lighter, so you'll have to wear a higher SPF underneath for a better protection.

Overall this is a pretty nice BB cream and I can see why it has gained so much popularity. My only complaint would have to be the shade which is not suitable for darker skintones.

Review- It's Skin Baby Face Petit Blusher & Holika Holika Love Fantasy Blush

Nothing attracts me more than blushes with cute packaging. And when they're from Asian brands, you can't help yourself falling in love with them. I have two adorable blushes to share with you guys today. It's Skin Baby Face Petit blush in shade No.3 and Holika Holikia Love fantasy blush  in "Pink".

Holika Holika Love Fantasy Blush

It's Skin Baby Face Petit Blusher

My Experience:

It's Skin and Holika Holika are among the popular brands from Korea, while they manufacture high quality products including skincare and makeup, I've always been drawn to these, and a few other brands, just because of the way they are packed. It's extremely colourful and cute.

The Petite blusher is actually from a  line by "It's Skin" called baby face. All of the products are characterised by this cute face of a baby and the plastic wrapping around the product which has wings. As the name suggest, it IS quite Petit. The container is fairly round in shape and has a very spherical surface. When you open it up you find a very pretty and soft puffer. I personally love it since it has a bow on back and feels so silky soft. The puff takes most of the space inside the container so the main product, that's the blush pan, is pretty small and slim. I wasn't really expecting it to be this sleek. The powder also has embossed baby face which again is super cute.
It looks like a dark peachy-pink color and goes very well with my skin.

Now on to the next blush which is the Holika Holika love fantasy blusher. This one comes in a tin pack and again a puff just like the one in the Petite blusher only with a different bow on back. The lid has a very pretty random flowery pattern that goes pretty well with the name "Love Fantasy". I have it in the shade "Pink"and It has three different shades in the blush pan. In the middle there is an embossed heart with "Love" written there. It's a very deep mauve-y color and looks bright barbie pink on my skin. The part on top of the heart is very light pink color while the one on bottom is a peachy pink color. When swiped all at once, they come off as a pink color since the middle shade is the most pigmented so it's the one that's most prominent among the three.

I noticed that in terms of pigmentation, texture and staying power, both of these blushes are pretty much the same. They are moderately pigmented. I have to put atleast two strokes for the color to build up. As for the texture, they are both almost the same except that the Love fantasy blush feels a little more chalky. The staying power of these blushes is okay,  I would have to re-touch them after 2-4 hours of application while I'm out.

             Love Fantasy Blusher: $7.62

Review- Holika Holika Berry Jelly Tint-Korea Depart

Jelly tint? How interesting! Scroll down to read my thoughts about this cute tint from Holika Holika.
Holika Holika Holy Berry Jelly Tint
Holika Holika Holy Berry Jelly Tint is a gel type lip tint; it provides a glossy finish and stains all at once. Vitamin derivatives and vegetable ingredients soften and moisturize, plus helps retain it. Collagen property increases synthesis of glycosaminoglycan, creating more plump and bouncy lips by increasing blood circulation. Tingles with a fresh cooling sensation from menthol ingredients. Create beautiful soft berry colored lips with this tint.

My Experience:
You can never beat Korean cosmetics when it comes to naming and packaging of a product. They are just adorable. The name "Jelly" and the bright orange shade was what attracted me to this one.

The shade I have is "peach berry" which got me a little confused since the tube was orange but when I swatched it on my hand it came out extremely sheer, more like a very light peachy shade. That's why they included the name peach. The tint is very sheer and the color doesn't show until you layer it up( obviously because it's a tint).
I found the applicator of this tint to be quite unique. It's not your regular brush or sponge applicator but rather a very small and flexible spatula. This my first lip product with this kind of applicator. But amazingly it doesn't effect the application. It's as easy as the regular applicators.

The fun part for me was definitely it's scent and taste. It tastes exactly like mint and smells like it too. I so love it!. Not only that it also leaves a very cooling sensation on my lips which lingers on for a good amount of time. I'm obsessed with the mint taste and I just can't help eating it unconsciously which is pretty weird.

As far as the name jelly is concerned, It definitely doesn't have the texture of a jelly but it's very soft and smooth. They say it has fibroblast collagen which is supposed to increase the synthesis of glycosaminoglycan to make you lips appear fuller. I do feel my lips look more pouty but they do not increase in size. It's because of the high amount of gloss I think.

I also like the fact that it's fairly inexpensive. So your budget won't shake while trying this out.

End Note: Love this tiny tube! I have to admit I usually put this tint on just for the menthol flavour and the cooling effect on lips.
