NOTD- Luscious Designer Nail Color-Sania Maskatiya

Luscious launched their designer nail colors sometime back. The shades looked amazing so I got myself a few of those. Today I'm wearing "Sania Maskatiya".

Sania Maskatiya is a bright pastel yellow. I personally love pastels for nails so this color is one of my favourites from the collection. The formulation, however, put me off. It's a little thick and doesn't dry quickly. I have to wait a little more for the application of two coats.

Have you tried the designer nail colors by luscious? Which one is your favourite?

NOTD-Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish in Cherry Up

It's been a while since I did a nail post so here it is for today. I'm wearing Sally hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in Cherry Up. Take a look.

Cherry up is a bright fuchsia pink and looks super fun on nails. I'm wearing two coats over here, but the opacity was good enough that the color showed up evenly on the first application. The consistency is perfect and the formula dried quickly. It was resistant to chipping until the start of the third day.

So what are you guys wearing on nails today?

Review- Konad Stamping Kit and Bump it Up Hair Volumizers From Born Pretty Store.

So recently i got an opportunity by the "Born Pretty Store" to try out two of their products.
Basically Born pretty store is an online shopping site which offers a great variety of beauty products and their specialty is the wide range of Nail Art products they have on their website.
I got one DIY nail art stamping kit and a pair of hair volumizers.

DIY Nail Art Stamping Kit:

The kit contains three products. An image plate that has 9 designs,a stamp and a blade.

This is the result i got after 2 tries.
I know i still need a lot of practice until i master it

My Experience:
I'm not good at anything related to nails.I mean i do like nail art alot but I'm not that good at it.When i received it,i had already seen a couple of videos on how to use it and it seemed quite easy but it took me a while until I realized that thin nail polishes don't really work with it.After i used a relatively thick color,it went all smooth.
So basically what you do is that you take the plate, choose which image you want to transfer on your nails. Then simply cover that image with your nail polish.Take the blade and wipe of the nail polish that you just applied on image. As the images are engraved on the plate the nail polish will sink into the images and all the excess will be wiped off by the blade.Place the stamp on the image, the nail polish inside the image will get transferred to the stamp.Place the stamp on your nails and you have nails with the image you desired.
You need a really thick polish for a thick "drawn with hands" effect. Other wise the image will actually look like a plain stamp. I was so excited for the hello kitty image but my nails were too thin for its whole face to appear. I'll keep trying to make it work though since i love hello kitty.
Over all i think it's such an amazing invention,It's cheap, gets done in no time and you can easily do it at home. It's available only for $3.88.For some one like me who's not good at doing nails, this kit is perfect. You do need a little practice before you start applying it perfectly.

WHERE TO BUY: Born Pretty Store
PRICE: $3.88

Hair Bump It Up Soft Velcro Insert Hair Volumizers.

My Experience:
I happen to have dead straight hair and even though their are not thin, because of the texture they look completely flat and Usually in pictures I end up looking like a potato. I love anything that says "volumizing". So these really appealed to me when i saw them on the website.
They are sponge pieces with a band around that sticks to hair. They are very light and do hide in my hair pretty well.
Yes these sponges perform a decent job at creating a bump on top of your head.I personally hate teasing since its very damaging and requires more effort to create that perfect bump. These are better substitutes for teasing. You just place them under a section of hair and you are good to go.But i noticed they work better when your hair are tied up.If i use them when i leave my hair open,my hair strands just slip from the top of thesponge so i have to secure them with a pin. The sticky band,in the start, sticks to the hair well but after sometime it slips down since my hair are very silky. I wish they had holes through which i could secure these with bobby pins but since i'm going to use them whenever i go for a tied up hair-do its not going to be a problem for me.
I heard they are as good as bumpits but since i haven't used Bumpits i can't say anything but they sure are a lot cheaper.
Over all i really liked these volumizers. I think I'll be using them a lot while attending formal events.

WHERE TO BUY: Born Pretty Store
PRICE: $ 3.30

NOTD- Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Color in Rapid Ruby

Hey everyone!
Today I'm wearing Rimmel's 60 Seconds Nail color in Rapid Ruby.

If i were to describe this color in one word,it would be HOT! i mean just look how seductive it is.
It suits every kind of skin tone dark medium light, whatever it is.  This is one red that i'll never be tired of.
It makes my nails look super classy and sophisticated.
The formula is the same as all the other colors in this range. Easy to apply, dries fast and how can i forget Rimmel's awesome applicator brush!
It is almost same as Celebrity Bash in Rimmel's Lycra Pro range (see review here)

So Do you like it?which is you favorite nail color?
Don't forget to tell me :)

NOTD- Sweet Touch in Sweet Kiss-1030

Hey everyone!
What are my nails wearing today? well its a Sweet touch nail color in Sweet Kiss that i bought yesterday along with some other yummy items(i'll be reviewing them soon)

I couldn't wait to show it to you guys,so here it is..
Okay i'm really bad at describing colors.I would say its a light tea pink color. But when i apply 3 coats it gives a very teeny weeny hint of mauve.

It gives a very sheer coverage with one coat. You have to apply at-least 2 coats to achieve the color.I applied two coats.

It comes with a normal thin applicator like some other nail polishes around and the texture of it is creamy. It takes a long time to dry which really bothers me.
About the staying power, well i can't say much right now because i painted my nails with it today.Lets see how well it goes.
The thing i love about this is the price. It cost me 110 Pkr only. But as i know that the place i get my stuff from sells everything at a higher rate,i'm sure it costs between 80-100 Pkr.
I was amazed to see this brand at No.2 position in Pakistan's  Top10 nail care brands (see here).
Well obviously because its so affordable and gives you decent quality products.
I've used its eye-liner in the past and i really liked it.
So what do you think of this color?
Don't forget to tell me in the comments section :)

Review+NOTD- Rimmel Lycra Pro Nail Color

Today I have Rimmel's Lycra pro nail color in "Celebrity Bash"

Rimmel claims:
LYCRA® Pro's patented, ultra-creamy formula with LYCRA® promises up to 10 days' super-durable colour with vitamins and micro-sized minerals which smooth out imperfections and form a UV shield to prevent colour fading.

"Brush is indeed the operative word, because LYCRA® Pro Nail Polish features a “breakthrough” Maxi Brush that makes application so simple and so fast.  It has a “revolutionary” wide, flat design, which is engineered to adapt to all nail shapes and – get this – cover evenly in just one stroke.  So you suddenly find yourself making a quick, confident gesture that delivers a mistake-free, professional-perfect finish in seconds.  Wow!"

I am so impressed with the brush. Its really nice and big.
Have a look at it below where I compared it with another nail polish brand that I own

I like the flat and wide brush of the nail polish. It really helps in a flawless application.
The color is absolutely beautiful.
"LYCRA® Pro Nail Polish comes in 11 fabulous shades whose colour is magnified by a super-glossy surface that captures and reflects light.  There's a wonderful choice of sophisticated pinks and beiges – just take a look at Fancy Fuchsia (295) or nude Barely There (362) – as well as sleek corals, lush purples and iconic reds like Ruby Me (319).  This being Rimmel, however, there are also some fantastically fashion-forward options, such as Black Pearl (398), the must-have black metallic colour of the Winter season."

You can get this for around 500-650Pkr(price may vary from place to place)
